Could I be part white?
I’m mostly asian, definitely.
But… the strange thing is… I’m very pale for an asian and very hairy as well as having a shortier, stocky, muscular build.
Asians aren’t supposed to be like that. Asians are normally thin, shorter, and have little hair.
When I was first born, i was SO PALE that the doctors thought taht blood wasn’t circulating. Turns out i was just extremely white.
I’m genetically Korean, both of my parents are korean. Everyone has black hair.
However, in the sunlight my hair has a brownish tint, and in the sun my leg and arm hairs appear almost blonde-ish.
When I go to korea, some people go as far as to thinking that I’m half white.
So I’m just confused! My dad has some of the same features, appearing european in some ways.
Could I have some Russian in my lineage, possibly? Korea and Russia are fairly close. Or could there possibly be a british or french or w/e from the colonial era up there in my lineage?
Idunno… I’m starting to think that maybe some recessive traits have popped up with me.
Sure you could, if even one of your ancestors married or mated with a person of lighter skin and other features that could be shown in you. Even if most of your ancestors were Korean you probably have some Russian/French/English/American, etc. in your genes somewhere.

I’m sure you would love to be part white, but anyhoo, you seem to be a full-blood korean to me. sorry!

maybe a recessive trait has become the dominant trait. I’ve heard that brown hair is a recessive trait in asians.

haha its weird. Although I do think you might have a long lost white ancestor, or it could just be the way you are. My family from my mom’s side is the same. They’re all Chinese, but my mom and all her sisters were born with brown hair (it later turned darker), so was I. My younger sister still has dark brown hair even though my mom and dad are both chinese.

why Asians want to white so bad
ouedra_abe | Nov 18, 2009
It’s possible, but probably not. Pale skin and brownish hair are recessive Asian traits. No white genes required.
