After the first date…?
So I met this guy on Halloween, we exchanged numbers and I didn’t really think I would hear from him. A couple days later he sent me a text, we started texting all the time, then began talking on the phone once in a while, became facebook friends and eventually decided to hang out that following weekend. We must have sent 500 texts back and forth last week… it was insane how time consuming our conversations were on the phone as well. The date wasn’t really what I would consider a date. He invited me to hang out with him and his friend and his friends girlfriend at a bar and play some bar games and have a couple drinks. It was fun, and although I did not feel it was the best setting in which to flirt and really get to know eachother, it was a good icebreaker. He walked me to my car at the end of the night and gave me a hug, said he would call me soon. He ended up sending me a chat message on facebook that night to ask my advice on something we had talked about that evening. He was stressed about this business related thing and needed to write an email to this guy. The following night I sent him a text to see if he had sent the email and was wondering how it went. He texted me saying he wanted to send me the draft of the email to look over and get my take on how it sounds. I read it, gave a couple nice comments. He said he was working on a term paper but we would talk later. that was yesterday. He has not initiated anything since. I assume he is busy with school and work, but I would just like to get some feedback from folks on what you think I should expect in the coming days? I like him, and I could see myself hanging out with him again. I have no intention of initiating contact, I already did that yesterday by trying to show him I cared about how business issue he was so stressed about. The last thing I want to do is come off as needy and overbearing… I just usually date guys I have known for a long time, and so this whole going out with a guy I barely know and waiting for a phone call thing is weird and doesn’t come naturally. Any insight would be appreciated:)
when you want out with him and his friends and there girlfriends did they all have dates??
